Heading Back to Charm City!

It’s just been officially announced that I’ll once again be a guest at one of the best Comic Book Conventions in the United States — Baltimore Comic-Con! Click on the banner below to check out the incredible Guest List (you’ll find me there right between Jim Steranko and Karl Story) and other important information about the show: Like how to buy yourself tickets!

Marc & Shelly Nathan, along with a fantastic crew, throw a terrific shindig each year. This year is the 20th Anniversary, so I expect all the stops to be pulled out and the dials set all the way to 11!

When I’ve got my booth number, I’ll be sure to post it here. Hope to see lots of Storrievillians there.

(HARLEY QUINN & THE) GOTHAM GIRLS TPB!

Harley Quinn & the Gotham Girls Collected Edition

Looks like dreams do come true! I’ve long hoped for a collected edition of the Gotham Girls mini-series I wrote for DC Comics way back when. People online ask me about it. People at conventions ask me about it. Until now, all I could do is point them to the digital editions (because the original comics go for 10 times the cover price or more). But no more!

I recently learned via a Tweet from World’s Finest (a wonderful online resource for the DC Animated Universe) that there’s collected edition on the way early in 2020! I expect this happy event owes much to the upcoming Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) coming next year as well. So “Thank You, Margot Robbie!!!”

Thanks should also go to my collaborators and editors on the book: Jennifer Graves (Pencils), J. Bone (Inks), Trish Mulvihill (Colors), Bradley Rader (Layouts on #3), Rick Burchett (Layouts on #5), Tim Harkins (Letter on #1), Phil Felix (Letter on #2-5), Shane Glines (Cover on #1-4), Rian Hughes (Cover on #5), Digital Chameleon (Color Separator), Harvey Richards (Asst. Editor), & Joan Hilty (Editor).

Previews Catalog Order Number, which allows you to order it from you Local Comic Shop, is NOV190545! (It’s also available for pre-order now through Amazon, but I encourage you to support your local comic shop and/or independent bookstore if you can.)

I’ll certainly be hauling an ample supply around to my convention appearances as soon as I can lay my hands on ’em.

In fact, people often ask me, “Paul, how should I buy your books? From you? From a comic store? In print? Digitally?” My answer is this: Whatever way is most convenient for you! Sure, I get the most money from a direct sale, but having comic shops and book vendors thinking “Hey, I just sold a bunch of these! I should order more!” is never a bad thing.

In the words of Igor from YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, “Suit yourself. I’m easy!”

Where I’ll be!

Time is flying and suddenly September is Next Month!

As such, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’ll be at the 10th Anniversary Cincinnati Comic Expo from September 20th-22nd. It’s one of my favorite shows of the year. Lots of cool Comics Guests. Plenty of major Media Guests as well.

If you’re anywhere near the Cincinnati area, or could make your way there, you should come. Make sure to say hello

Now click on the banner below and peruse all the wonderful people who will be appearing there along with me!

Slowly but surely

I still feel a complete WordPress noob, mostly because I am, but I’m slowly making progress on building Storrieville anew. That said, the Bibliography is populated and clicking on covers should take you to a new page with additional info about each book.

Eventually, I plan to add scripts and writing advice on the Writing Stuff page. To be honest, I’m taking a lot of cues from my pal, Sean McKeever, who built his own site with nothing but his own two hands, a keyboard, and a solid knowledge of HTML. Or maybe something else. I don’t know. Ask him.

You should definitely check out his site, because it’s a solid piece of work. As is his writing. Right now he’s doing OUTPOST ZERO through Skybound/Image. Plus lots of his stuff is also available in collected editions. Go to his website for more info.
